Breakfast was spot on every day! We explored the local pubs and took a lovely walk up the river. The hosts were super friendly. Definitely a place I'd recommend for a fun getaway with mates.
One thing to note, though, is that finding parking was a bit tricky at times, so plan ahead if you're driving.

Chose Riverside for a lovely weekend getaway and it mostly delivered. The location is amazing, right by the river with fine views of the sea. Room 8 had a nice balcony, perfect for morning coffee. It was impeccably clean with all the necessary amenities, including tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was really nice, especially the full English, very filling and delicious. Debbie and Dan were warm and cute hosts. The on-street parking can be tricky during peak hours. Some areas in the room could use a refresh, especially the balcony that had cobwebs. It was a comfortable stay with plenty of charm and character.

While the balcony provides a great spot for views, it could use a bit of a clean-up as there were some cobwebs. The decor shows signs of age, with some peeling wallpaper that could use a facelift to enhance the overall charm of the place.

dramatic scenery, lovely harbour estuary view, unspoiled location
Room decor needs attention!!! Peeling wallpaper and a dated balcony detract from potential charm. A fan would definitely improve comfort during warm nights, and bedside tables are impractical in the limited space!!!
